Does anyone really think that wind turbines can replace all our existing power stations and then support all transport and all domestic heating ???

No, is the answer I think you are pointing at. Unlike some, I actually find them quite attractive, mostly. I believe there is now a long cable between us and Norway so we can sell them our excess windpower?
