So lovely to see lights outside in the garden - unfortunately I can not manage this and the solar lights don't do much in this gloomy days !

Agree with you about solar lights. I have some battery operated lights that i have out all year. They have an in-built timer, and I find them quite effective. I was thinking that perhaps you could manage a few of these. They come in different colours, and I posted a picture of one of them on 26th November.
