A visit to Abbotsbury Swannery this morning. It was established in the 1040's by Benedictine Monks, and is the only place in the world where you can walk through a nesting colony of wild Mute Swans. There are about 600 swans, and this photo was taken just after feeding time when the swans had dispersed. A truly memorable experience.
