Searching for fossils - Best time ever

Lyme Regis, Dorset England, The town's beaches and cliffs are noted for fossils. They form part of the local Heritage Coast and the more extensive coastal World Heritage Site, commonly referred to as the Jurassic Coast – stretching for 153 kilometres (95 mi) from Orcombe Point near Exmouth in the west to Old Harry Rocks in the east.
I love this story telling capture.

A lovely shot, and you are quite right, fossil hunting is great fun - fav!

On the Yorkshire coast there are specimens of Jet to be found (fossilised wood), and on a guided walk on the North York Moors some years ago, the guide showed us dinosaur footprints that he had found in the area.

I wonder if the ghost of Mary Anning still wanders the shore.

Great scene, I love the earthy colours with the pop of colour from the people. It sounds like such an interesting place to visit
