Another overcast day and anxiety-producing news about exponential growth of covid cases in central Canada. I needed to do some errands, and on the way I encountered this busker in the heart of downtown Toronto. His music was energetic and upbeat, something we all needed today. So I went to a nearby bank machine to withdraw some cash (who carries money around anymore?) so that I could give him some money. More than anything, I wanted to thank him for giving me a photo op and bringing some lightness to my day.
A great busker shot. It is wonderful when street music does that to you that happened to me a couple of Christmas's ago it brought tears to my eyes and I still remember it well plus a photo.(The Pogues. Fairytale of New York)
@wendyfrost Wendy, I checked out your photo (and listened to the song on YouTube...I recognized it instantly.) Yes, I can see how your busker would have brought tears to your eyes. (And you had the added feature of the cathedral bells!) These are special encounters, aren't they?
