A young man stopped me in the park today to introduce himself. His name is Taro. He is here from Japan to study English. As a service to other Japanese students who want to learn English, he is making videos with short English lessons. Today the topic was idioms. He moved around the park asking people if he could interview and video record them. How could I say no? So we had a delightful encounter on this beautiful autumn day.
@bkbinthecity yes, that's true, Brian! I felt a little shy asking him to pose for me, but when I explained my Project, he was happy to oblige. And he used an idiom he had just learned: it's a win-win :)
