Winter has come early for us with snow yesterday and today. But the temperatures are still fairly mild (-1C, give or take), so this snow may not last long. I took this shot in the residential neighbourhood near my doctor's office (shingles vaccination today). Snow has a way of making the world a little quieter.
How charming everything looks while covered in white, virgin snow! and yes, how quiet all the world seems to be! So good to be protected from the shingles ,
Lovely to be out in the first snow and experience the beauty of it. A lovely capture good to get your vaccination I have had shingles twice once when I was fifteen and the other time I was in my fifties.
@wendyfrost Ohhh, poor you! Getting hit with shingles twice! That's awful, Wendy! My partner (Carolyn) got shingles recently. That did it for me! Off for my shingles shot. I think if people don't have experience with shingles (getting it personally or knowing others who have gotten it), they don't know how awful it is. Anyhow, I sure hope you never get it again!
