Strokes of Colour

Another discovery: a thicket of red osier dogwoods. The white fluff (from an earlier flower, I assume) first caught my eye, but I see that the deep red stems give nice strokes of colour to the winter scene.

The redwoods are so wonderful in winter - to me the fluffy white looks like a downy feather caught in the twigs - quite a statement! Great dof -
