@beryl Not an everyday occurrence, Beryl, but from time to time. I think the point is really to give the horses some exercise and to keep them accustomed to the street sights and sounds for those times when they are in use (during street demonstrations, for example)
@yaorenliu Yeah. They are not a big part of the police force (26 horses). They are mostly used for street demonstrations (crowd control), and fortunately nothing aggressive usually happens. On a day like today, I think they are being exercised and being kept accustomed to the sights and sounds of the city streets. But, yeah, one wonders if it's necessary.
