Alas de Mexico (Wings of Mexico)

Eight guardian angels have come to rest in Fort Worth and will be here until the end of August. The large sculptures, titled Wings of the City, are by Mexican artist Jorge Marín.

They have been traveling throughout the world for the past 25 years, appearing in more than 200 exhibits. Most recently they have been touring Texas, making stops in Houston and Dallas. They are here at the invitation of the city of Fort Worth and are sponsored by the Mexican Consulate in Dallas.
The sculptures are in Sundance Square, General Worth Square, in front of the Fort Worth Convention Center, Burnett Park and the Fort Worth Water Gardens.
