Perseid Meteor Shower

I went to bed at 10:15pm but my aging dog woke me up at 12:45am and I had to be up for work at 4:30am. So I let her out but then I couldn't help but look for the meteor shower as long as I was up. I immediately saw a meteor and then I was wide awake and decided to try to get a picture. Obviously I was not very successful but that's ok.

3 Good Things:
1. I saw a meteor...even if I don't have proof.
2. I ate the best peach ever that my neighbor gave me.
3. Work is done for 2 days. Woo Hoo!

Ha! Sorry about your lack of sleep and proof but I like that you knew to look and saw one. You are pretty smart! Power naps are the way to go. There were days this summer when I took two in one day! Make your room as close to your pic as possible. 20-30 minutes. It is permissible to wind down with reading a real book. Put your phone on do not disturb, but set the timer. You will be amazed at the stamina that gives you. 😁
