For the longest time I've had LR, but have barely used it, and last night I purchased Nik Collection, and thought I'd make the effort to learn more about LR, along with using Nik, but my computer kept crashing, and I'm not sure if it's the Nik Collection or LR....anyone else had issues with either?

Nice concept -- and pretty accurate! I think I've spotted a flaw, though: "Post coffee" is worth one more point than "Pre coffee". That can't be right. If only they had exclamation mark squares, you could get a more appropriate score!
I use both LR and NIK. I had some problems with Silver Effects Pro freezing up every now and then but it hasn't happened in a while. One of the things your gonna notice with these programs is they are resource hogs and will suck up whatever RAM is available. I don't know if your processing on a Mac or Windows machine?? If you plan on spending a lot of time editing like i do your definitely going to want to upgrade your RAM. Memory is cheap and its a great way to settle down the resource hogs like PS LR and NIK. I'm using 16GB of ram on an iMac and i no longer have any problems editing. The first thing you need to do is determine how much RAM you have. @mackneezieblanco thank you so much........I am using a Windows machine, which is pretty ancient, and not too reliable at the best of times, but I will check out the link, along with checking LR to see if there are any updates available, and if I still have problems, it may be the push I need to get a new laptop. @allisonraposa You're welcome!! Sometimes bitting the bullet and just getting a new machine is the best way to go, computers are also pretty cheap right now. Just be sure to get something with at least 8 GB of RAM. Hope all this helped and hope you have a good day.
