We, the family of Pyrhulla, are sorry to inform you that Pyrhulla has passed away yesterday, april 17 2024. He was with his beloved wife in his own house.
He was almost every weekend day driving through the countryside near his home in Zeeland taking pictures of his beloved land and the flowers and skies he loved, his wife next to him. He was fond of the flat lands, and the clouds in the sky, the flowers and the crops and the little villages and churches in the neighbourhood. He had a lot of fun with this site. We like to thank you all for all your lovely comments!
Heartfelt condolences to you and the family. Ferry and his wonderful photography will be sorely missed.
He showed us so much of your wonderful country with its fields of beautiful flowers and little villages.
He went into detail and explained about the dykes and different systems which are so unique in your country.
He was so proud to be born there. May he now RIP 🙏🏼
I am deeply sorry to hear this sad news - my heartfelt condolences to Ina and all of Ferry's family , I always loved to see Ferry's photography and his love of his land , dykes and flowers, which really shone through - both here on 365 and on his face-book account where he always posted on a friday, wishing all his followers a Happy Weekend .
With fond memories , may he now RIP.🙏
My deepest sympathy to Ina and all of Ferry's family. I loved seeing the beautiful countryside which he so obviously loved through his lens. RIP my friend.
Thank you so much for telling us, Ferry was a joy to 'chat' with and his skyscapes always stunning. He leaves a huge hole in your hearts, but with lovely memories to make you smile.
I'm so sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful friend to many of us here on 365, and I have enjoyed his photos and friendship for many years, and have learned so much about your wonderful country from him.
My thoughts are with the whole family, but especially with Ina, at this very difficult time. A beautiful photo to mark his passing.
I'm so sorry to hear this sad news, but thank you for telling us. I'm a relative newcomer to 365, but Ferry always found time to offer me encouragement with his thoughtful comments. And I loved checking in every day to see what he had posted. His love for nature- the trees, the flowers-the land-the sky- and his great appreciation of architecture and art in all ways was a delight to see through his lens. But more than anything, through all his photographs, his beloved Ina was his muse (he told me so. He also told me, fondly, how the saxophone played a role in their meeting). Sending my heartfelt condolences to Ina and all of Ferry's family at this sad time.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was so welcoming when I first came here and his photos brought such joy for so long.
He will be missed the world around - from Australia the condolences pour out to you all.
I am so sorry to here this sad news. Ferry was a great 365 friend. I so enjoyed his interesting postings and narrative of the country he loved. He will be missed by all who followed him on this wonderful site.
My hand is at my throat in shock as I read this! It's been a short while that we'd heard nothing and I had to wonder, but this is not what I wanted to hear! What a kind, thoughtful, exceedingly talented man in making his jewelry, his model ships, his bonsai garden! To Ina, I'm heartbroken for you as I was well-aware how you traveled each day together. To your sons, my condolences as well. Because of the friendship here on 365, Ferry was a bright spot in my life and his messages I would share with Ken. He's left a legacy of friendship and each Friday, I'll imagine his words as he'd say to have a (prettig) nice weekend! RIP dear friend.
Oh such sad news, thank you for letting us know. He was a lovely man and always gave kind comments and encouragement. Your choice of picture is perfect for this tribute too. My deepest sympathies to you all.
This is such a sad moment in time and here on 365 - Ferry was such a jovial friend here and always left thoughtful comments to everyone. I truly loved his photos and explanations - I had only 3 beautiful days in your country over 20 years ago and live on the other side of the world - Australia. he showed me around your wonderful country through his photos - I am so grateful for that. My sincerest thanks to you for informing us of this sad news and my heartfelt condolences to Ina and all your family. RIP Ferry. xxx

I'm sorry, Ferry. I prayed to God for your speedy recovery. I hoped, but the life of every person on Earth has its end. I believe that you are now photographing fields of flowers in the sky and that you are happy. RIP, my friend.. My heartfelt condolences to all your family.
