I have to tell you all, I'm still on an emotional high over the events of last week, and your loving outpouring of words and photos. You've been constantly in my thoughts and often in my conversation. As I looked down through the names of you who came by my photo of the turtle, I was thinking again of how the shell represents heaven and earth. And a song came to mind. This time, my image of roses is almost secondary to what I want to share with words...
It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears.
It's a world of hopes,
And a world of fears.
**There's so much that we share,
That it's time we're aware,
It's a small world after all.**
Chorus:
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small, small world.
There is just one moon,
And one golden sun.
And a smile means,
Friendship to every one.
**Though the mountains divide,
And the oceans are wide,
It's a small world after all. **

I'm so filled with love for the people in this world. Today I heard from Ireland/Turkey, Australia, London,India, Iran, Brazil, Indonesia, Canada and all over the U.S. (including our Bulgarian girl). How lucky am I? How lucky are *We*?
It is certainly a small world but our 365 bit of it has a big heart!
You are so right it is a small world and I feel so lucky that through 365 I suddenly have access to so much more of it than I could probably ever fit in to our casual global stroll. Thanks to some pretty incredible photographers who have been gracious enough to share their corner of the world with our little web community my list of 'must sees' has grown exponentially and since I am not a dip in and run kind of traveller I'm sure I'm not going to make it all the way through...but I'm going to give it a good go!!
Great song choice, too =) My class sang to that in 3rd grade (gosh, that's over 20 years ago)
365 = a melting pot of love! :)
beautiful shot Louise!
Oh, about the music, I don't know, but I'm going to traslatate to read LOL..
and yes, I'm from Brazil ;)
Now, about the tune... It will now be an ear worm in my head for weeks!
I agree with your song choice....what a wonderfully small world we live in today and how much fun it is to travel it everyday with our 365 friends. Looking forward to you traveling to our little corner very soon. :-)

She says "I have no words... your picture is wonderful, beautiful... I loved, it seems that I can feel the scent of the roses. Congrats."
How sweet she is, isn't that?
I'm partialy biased...as my favourite flower in the world is a white rose (I know this is pink...but still very close)
gorgeous :)
