10 AM Saturday we're underway...kiss cats good-bye...pass the keys and our California life off to Tracy...bear up under the trials of airline travel...enjoy America the Beautiful from 32,000 feet...hug and kiss the rest of my beloved family when we're all together once again!

Wonderful photo! Love the song too! It reminds me of growing up, my dad would always come home from work pull up a chair in the dining room and spend about 30-45 minutes playing his guitar. This was one of the songs that he played regularly in his rotation.

gosh, louise! i'd been humming this song too many times a couple of days ago and your face turns up in my mind many times! i love the way you pack your stuff, real-time, really! take care and have a safe and wonderful journey. try taking sips of water in the long flight and walk a bit to stretch your legs so as to avoid dvt's.
