I can't seem, to this day, to tell you all what your *gift* has meant to me. The photos on "my" day were astounding enough, your "conversations" on Autumn's thread floored me when I read them, and now this, a book to treasure and share with all your photos in it! I'll never fully comprehend what I did to deserve it, but I *appreciate* it more than you'll ever know!
I'm embarrassed that this arrives as I'm finding less and less time to reply to each of your sweet comments. My days are getting so wonderfully full to overflowing! We had visitors from California come by this morning, and we were so delighted to share this little corner of the world. As we said goodbye to them, we gathered up our dinner contrubution and went up the street to spend the evening with our neighbors again. When we wrapped up the evening, I couldn't wait to come here and let you all know you'd really made my day...*Again*! I can't thank you enough...but I think you know what I mean...
very busy but fun schedule you have.
And same here, gifts mean a lot to me; and even the simplest note I keep them, and I find myself smiling reading old notes/letters.
Aw, look at that radiant smile! I am so glad Autumn thought of this idea. I am sure everyone who participated was very happy to have a way to show you what an important part of our little online community you've become.
What a wonderful photo, Louise!! ;-)) I love your grey squirrel and the lupines! :-) You couldn't have said "thank you' in a better way! :-) Enjoy your activity-filled days, as we are enjoying the glipses at Lunenberg life with every picture you post ;-)
Another wonderful photo! It was so nice of Autumn to come up with this idea. It was such a special thing she did for a very special person : ) Oh ...the monkey on the back thing...it's not Kay...it's a thing called 365...LOL
what a wonderful photo (color-coordinated and everything!) -- so great to see your smile! Thanks for showing us the book! (and another thanks to Autumn for coordinating it!)
hahahaha I love this shot! The little squirrel in the corner hehehe! It makes me happy to know that you are happy. :) Ohh and loving those freshly picked flowers!! GORGEOUS!
have a lovely day filled with wonderful memories Louise.
What a wonderful picture! Glad you are enjoying the book of pictures and your time at your Canadian home. I think all of us love to hear and see updates of your time in Nova Scotia. Enjoy each moment! *hugs*
Your friendship and thoughtful comments have encouraged me and so many others on this site; it's a blessing to see you blessed. Beautiful picture of you, by the way. :)
hey..I'm sure it was a pleasure to all of us..:-) And you've taken the tiime to remember all of us in an album. You look so happy Louise and I love the lupins and squirrell...Brilliant!
I'm glad you're having such a great time with all of your friends! That's the way life should be, if you want my humble opinion. ;) I just started following you right around your day (I think just after) and didn't get to join in, but I'd say the tribute is well deserved! You always have such nice things to say to everyone, and you comment on so many photos! We all appreciate your thoughtful responses, so I can see why there was such an outpouring. I'm also sure everyone understands that you don't have as much time to comment now, and we'll even let it slide as long as you keep posting your beautiful photos and sharing your adventures with us! :)
Yay, you got it!!!
You're welcome and it's our pleasure, Louise. I like the lupines (whoohoo, i feel like a genius remembering the name) at the side of the frame and of course, the smile you've got on your face. glad to know we've made you happy.
I don't know how you do it! I reckon that little fellow on the coffee table is one of many trained squirrels that answer your fan base, has to be! One person couldn't do what you do, surely.
This is a pretty picture of you and your album. Thank you for taking the time to comment on so many of our photos. You're a very sweet and thoughtful person.
You seem to be one of the sweetest, most genuine people Louise! It looks like a lot of other people here think so too. :) Sorry I wasn't introduced to you sooner to add to your collection of photographs. What a sweet way for your friends here to honor you!
You know you have started something now...I'll go on the hunt for monkey's and take bunches of monkey shots for the next few days. I know I have a few at home...lol
Lovely photo...we don't have the same couch after all, but I believe the upholstery fabric is identical!
I just read your comment on my Ken-and-Barbie deconstruction, and I am very moved, and responded over there. Thanks so much...I hope all the people in your "real" life realize what a generous, caring and truly beautiful soul they have in their midst.
Beautiful shot.. with the LUPINES not lavender from yesterday! : ] So Louise you are a leo? August birthday? that means we get to celebrate when you return to Cali right?
haha.. like how a sqirrell has squeezed its way into the shot :-). Lovely shot and it's truly wonderful how Autumn put all this together... hats off to her and you for your constant commentry... Long may it continue...
First of all...HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to TOM! ;-)
Secondly, yes...Kyle and Maria are getting married NEXT Canada Day, 2011. So, we'll barely have enough time to catch our breath from Kelsey and Ian's wedding here, and then another reception in England in Nov..before it's Christmas, and then K&M's wedding!
Somehow we have to find time ( and $$! ) to celebrate our 30th in Aug! Whew. That one might have to take a back seat. ;-)
Thirdly, I love that you have this book.
I am pretending that I am sitting beside you, sipping tea, and looking at the photos with you!
And fourthly, I am so happy that you are having such a great time visiting with all of your "summer friends" and infectiously sharing Lunenburg with the rest of us.
I imagine that you have inspired many people here, to visit the lovely Nova Scotia, simply because of your amazing shots!
Love love love this shot. Love given and love returned is such a beautiful thing. Glad to see "Boo" is keeping you company and I am dying to get back here in February!!!
