Surgical Procedure

Owning an old (1888) home, there's something to attend to every year. We knew there was "a little dry rot" over the back entry to be repaired, but as it was uncovered, that entire two-story section needed rebuilding... As only the latest homeowners through the years. I'm actually enjoying seeing it being attended to. It's our hope that our children and grandsons will spend summers here into the future.

Some of you have asked to see pictures of our Lunenburg summer... it's not always just fun and games!

The picture looks better enlarged...
How nice that you are thinking about the future of the house and of your family.

At least you found it before you fell thru. Can I be your grandkid so I can spend summers there? Love Lunenburg!

Yes, there is never a shortage of things to do, and of course it seldom turns into a little project. It will be a worthwhile investment

A great action shot of work in progress, our house dates back to 1640 so we also have plenty of ongoing maintenance

There's always 'something' when you own a home... But it pays to keep up the maintenance for sure. :) I love your blue house even during surgery.
