Happy New Year!

Peggy's image today http://365project.org/pcarlaw/365/2014-02-09 sent me looking at my tree... If it weren't for the attention a photographer pays to the subject, I'd have walked away seeing nothing more than bare branches. Then, on closer inspection, I saw tiny buds... But a reward was waiting...these two of four blossoms on the tree...

I went to Pixlr for some ideas & came away with a Chinese New Year chop mark which seems to suit the subject matter...
