Welcome Sweet Springtime! by Weezilou

Welcome Sweet Springtime!

Ken and I spent all evening at our daughter, Heather's store, Green Genes, assisting her in setting up a new window display. Out with the "winter snow" and in with the "chenille posies"! (Ken and I made every one of them and she strung them together for the window backdrop.) On this April day, one might hope Chicago's winter is gone for good!
I like the name f the shop AND the window display AND the photo! Yay, spring.

@overalvandaan The fixtures (display tables, lamps, etc) are "gently loved antiques"...the clothes are organic cotton some from European vendors. Heather said to tell you some of the items in the window are Scandinavian and that "they know what they're doing when it comes to fashion"... (I thought you'd like hearing that!)

@allie912 Yes, we're behaving like proper grandparents and keeping out of trouble! It's been fun "beautifying" the urban neighborhood!

It's getting to be spring here...daffodils and crocuses have been out for a while. More rain than sun, though.
