@ethelperry Like you, I loved and collected fountain pens! Years ago, while at dinner with my family, there was a graphoanalyist who said that a pen gave an additional nuance regarding personality as it was possible to see the pressure. I was fascinated by that study. In only recent years, I had a friend whose husband analyzed handwriting as an officer with the Beverly Hills police department, so it was interesting to see that it's a respected "profession"... (If I were home in CA, I'd have had access to many of my old pens and I could have used a photo of one of my own instead of having to pick one off the web!)

I never mind the weather. If it`s hot, I go out , by bad weather I`ve my jewel making to keep me happy and busy. Feeling sad about the weather won`t chance it.
Seen on T.V. that California has many wood fires. Not in you place I hope ?
@pyrrhula I might be forced to turn on the news to see what's happening! We're in a suburban area and don't have the fires that happen in the foothills. We've had bad drought conditions...the fires are always predictable, sad as they are. You know me...I feel sorriest for the animals that become trapped :(
On a lighter note, I'm like you regarding weather...I love the variety! And I always have something to keep me busy in any sort of weather!
