The prettiest thing in the photo is hardly visible!

I know several of you have accomplished-or-are-in the process of remodels... It's like tipping dominoes, isn't it?! Over the winter our dining room was "re-done" to look like a proper room for this heritage home. (Long before us, someone had put an acoustic ceiling in this one room... Even a purple bathroom doesn't rise to that level of "Oh So Wrong!") We loved the refinished room with crown molding & fresh paint, but again...that itch in the brain that says, "Something's missing"...

Here it was the drapes, our little US imports that never looked outstanding... In stepped Brenda, the only other "former fashion designer" I know...I told her what I had in mind and she made and installed them! I never had a desire to sew anything larger than clothing, but Brenda makes drapes, slip covers AND...full-sized sails for boats (and I think bigger than sail boats!) I like the clean lines, and the lovely old woodwork is now exposed.

In an old home like this, we'll enjoy it in the present, but ultimately, we're just caretakers along the way...
Awesome shot

That is a lovely corner there....love all your kit-cat knicknacks, and the beautiful flowers....yes, when you are attuned to a space you always know that something is not complete or perfect, but you don't realize it until it's in place!
Love your last sentence....that's all we are!

I love you last line. It`s my vision off all that they say you own it. I say I`m one in line.
Beautiful view inside you home and hart.
