Beware!! Beware!! When I found Jack sitting on my computer he stuffed it up!! had to go to the repair man, who had a giggle when I explained what happened! Now Jack sit precariously beside the computer as he knows he's not allowed on it! Although I wouldn't trust him if I left the room :)
LOL...You speak the truth! I was in the middle of a letter to a friend and it suddenly disappeared! I hoped it had been sent, so I wrote a note saying, "I hope you got that note...now he's chewing on my little finger..." She had NOT received my letter and wanted to know who was chewing on me! And if you look at the screen behind him, it says, "Preview off"...he did that, too!
Ha, our grand cat, Kiki, was saying the same thing this evening. She jumped up on the tablecloth and pushed everything off the table, a book, pens, papers. was quite funny. This kitty is so gorgeous.
That kitty definitely has the attitude.....and, frankly, I think what he is saying is "I need to have a selfie so that I can post it on my Facebook page"!!! And, on another note, a long time ago our kitty Trouble had a habit of walking on the keyboard, and somehow the screen turned upside down!! Took a long time to figure out how to get it back to its old settings... ;-))))
@Weezilou This : I think I would like to step out of my life for an hour and sit quietly within this photo! Is the best and loveliest comment I ever had on a pic. You`ve made my day. I`ve missed you a lot. Knowing you have a great excuse makes it bearable but less sorry. But like good friends do, they love it when the other have a great time and make a side step for a while. Thanks for the best wishes and hugs, same in return .
@pyrrhula ♥ Ferry, this is the only comment I'm going to write this evening as we have been with three different groups of friends in the last 12 hours...a brunch, a lunch & afternoon visit & back home, neighbors came to visit for a last time! Also, my computer isn't working well, I have to pack & we leave tomorrow for Chicago! HOWEVER, I'm so glad you understand how much I truly meant it when I told you how much I loved that photo and the quiet respite it offered! You're correct that I've been a poor excuse for a friend, but even today I apologized to my friends for not writing to them more often! Someday maybe I can stop making so many plans and catch up with old friends... Please do know I think of our enjoyable email exchanges and look forward to some slower days when I can write a real letter again! I also look forward to leaving a very hot and humid Southern California (strange weather for here!) and return to Chicago & then Nova Scotia where the trees will be starting to change color and the air will be cooler! I think by October I *may* have some free time again! Send me a quiet place to sit and write letters! Hugs, m'friend, L
@pyrrhula Thank you, Ferry. I just read an article about the fires and it sounds quite terrible...so very personal to every resident who has lost a home or animals. With the drought, everyone knew it would happen. This week I've heard many people talk about the "El Nino" effect this winter when we expect a lot of warm rain...but not the sort to make for snow pack in the mountains. Everyone suffers some sort of troubles, don't they. Thank you for thinking of us...
(OK...I did have to look up the word, but thanks for enlarging my vocabulary today!)
My pray`s for to day. and next days, goes to/for all the people in California that are in trouble by the big fires.
