As I'm working backward through my photos to keep posting them, on this morning, we were making a second visit to Sherbrooke Village, about 2.5 hour north of Halifax. A town of about 300 residents, the village is as it was in 1860 when timber, tall ships and gold brought prosperity to the Village. You now can explore the 25 original buildings, and experience life as it was along the St. Mary’s River before the 1900s.
As Vikki and I walked together, we discussed the concept of time travel, and when I mentioned a favorite book of mine was Jack Finney's "Time and Again", she said with astonishment that she was currently reading it! The streets here have recreated a by-gone era, and I've been sorting through my photos to find one that will transport us. Perhaps this will do.
Are you at Lunenburg now?
