It was a Halloween party to beat all (in my life, anyway!) That's my neighbor, Jocelyn, as...well...you tell me... This looks totally like it would be from the Harry Potter movies. (Did I get that right?) She was absolutely adorable!
Nothing fancy about the pictures I took, but they will forever be center-stage in my memory album! What a wonderful time we all had...and isn't life about at least *trying* to make good memories...for ourselves and others as well?!
Happy Halloween, Louise -- a few days early, but it looks like you are already celebrating. It surely looks like a fun evening with lots of laughs, food and camaraderie.
yeah, snapshots have a totally different aesthetic than other shots. I think that catching moments with interactions (like this) are the crowning jewels of snapshots.
That's the longest hat. I confess. I have put up that recipe I was talking about as pictures, not to ne artistic at call, but as catching some memories and also so you could get it, on this site. I just didn't trust myself to be able to link it. I may have been able to figure it out but it may have been pretty frustrating as I'm not always that text savvy.
@creativeaddict Thanks, Laur!!! It's 5 AM and we're off to Halifax for the day, but wanted to let you know I got your message and can't wait to find that "Treasure Hunt" recipe! You're so cute to do that!! ♥
@panthora Now, at 7:45, we've only had my neighbor come by with baby Lucy! She'd had 6-7, and Jocelyn was sitting out front with her partner, dressed as Dracula...and no once came by! We had a nice visit... Made a breakfast casserole and scones for the kids this morning so we all had breakfast at the Academy...LOTS of fun! From there went to visit a friend who just inherited his uncle's farm by a brook and did I get photos!!! AND, I used your crystal ball to everyone's delight, and I can't wait to have a good look! I risked life and limb as the ground was quite rolly with rocks and stumps, but I survived and got the goods! Happy Halloween to you, darlin! Thanks for looking at so many of my photos. Truthfully, I've hardly had enough time to even look at my own! Tomorrow, 2 music venues and a dinner... I'll need rehab back in CA!
@kevin365 ...and so you did my dear friend! Ferry @pyrrhula recently told me not to run faster than my shadow, but I failed to heed his admonishment. There's a price to pay when one does that... I'm fried! (Ferry, that means "exhausted"!)
