I just love sunflowers, so bright and happy-looking. Must confess a tinge of sadness about them since the Russians shot down MH17 into a paddock of sunflowers with such a huge loss of life.
@golftragic I do agree with you about sunflowers and the plane. It seemed such an ironic, if that's the right word, that all those images were in such a beautiful place. However Louise has certainly captured their beauty and sunny side here! :-)
@kerosene We "oldsters" buying them at the market say they look like little teddy bears! It's two young girls (6 & 9 about...) who sell them next to their parent's large vegetable stand. They're built like little fawns, and we all race over to buy their flowers! Will try to get a photo of them with their set-up tomorrow if they're not inundated with buyers!
