Ken and the grandsons returned from a shopping trip that included doughnuts for the boys and flowers for Mommy and Grandma. A proper upbringing is underway for these young men of the future, and I'm feeling better now on so many levels!
@salza They made me smile to think how quick the transition is from Christmas in the rear-view mirror to Spring on the horizon! (Well, north of the equator, anyway!)
@stray_shooter You didn't even need to complete that paragraph! As I'm reading, in a flash I read, "I would have ofted for the doughnuts..." and I complete the sentence, "Of Course! He's a Guy!!!) Thanks for liking them. Flowers do, typically, make a better photo shot than a doughnut!
Going back a bit in your project. This is so beautiful. I'd much rather see beautiful flowers or anything of beauty rather than the march. I don't "feel it" either. Not in agreement with any of it.
@danette ♥ Funny, when I saw your name last night with the Everglades photo, I thought we might be like-minded... Thank you for sharing your thoughts; it means a lot. I simply was over being a "silenced majority" member! Yours is not the only note I've received; we're just quieter than the rest! Thanks xo
@Weezilou I was working Saturday. My dad would have rolled over in his grave had I attended a march. I thought we were over being silenced, but apparently not yet. They still don't get why they lost. Has nothing to do with the names they call people they don't understand. Well...I know we will be in a better place. We are just going through a rough transition (not really knowing how long that transition will take). Prayer. Lots and lots of prayer.
