There's a faction of one-legged flamingos who devoutly worship the moon, believing they were born of the colony who were transported from there shortly after the age of dinosaurs. Where others see a rabbit or a man, they won't be swayed from their long-held belief that their race continues to cover the moon's surface, sometimes causing the reddish glow.

It's even creepier on black! Flamingo Friday has officially gone over the top! Oddly enough I did not find any other photos matching the tag "Truly Dumb Story!"
@stray_shooter LOL! I have no idea how these stories evolve... I was going to just post my moon shot, but many do that and I lacked a FF image. Eye fell upon a bowing flamingo and the rest wrote itself! I am SO NOT INTO anything like that story...never even went to a Harry Potter movie or Twilight movies! I shan't delve into the recesses that harbored that!
