Painting with Pixels by Weezilou

Painting with Pixels

Over the weekend I took a webinar class with Sebastian Michaels, and I loved the old, painterly effect he was teaching. As my followers know I like to make greeting cards (the old fashioned sort I can send in the mail!), this image allows space for a greeting or quote there on the lower left quarter. Planning ahead, I've already put the image to use...

Thank you all for the pleasure it's given me to share my over-worked blossoms with you! Your thoughtful words have been lovely to read and are so appreciated!
I am loving this gorgeous image Louise!! Wonderful processing!! I am hoping we will have time for you to show me what you have learnt!! Really looking forward to working side by side - such fun!! Fav for this beauty!! You can send me this card anytime!! LOL!!

@summerfield For all my art school years, I always wondered how I'd ever be able to develop my own style. Now, late in life, I'm pleased that I'm doing something that people recognize as mine, so thank you, dear friend!

Oh my Louise, I knew this was your art the minute I saw it, so very lovely. "Painting with pixels", indeed. A favorite, for so many reasons!

Oh, I am envious. I'd love to do some of the online webinars, but our time-zone is so far out of whack with yours it doesn't work. 2, 3, 4 or 5am are not when I'm at my charming best.

You needed a class?? This is gorgeous.

@danette You have always been such a generous cheer-leader in my court, Danette! Thank you for liking my projects, and I'll forever be looking to learn new ways of doing things!

@golftragic I've noticed that the few webinars I've watched also have a repeat a day or two later, at leisure. I don't know if you only get that information IF you watch the first one! I was most grateful for this recent one as I could stop it and take more copious notes along the way. I find I do learn best by example...

@Weezilou We do get some repeats of some series of webinars, not sure about Sebastian's stuff. Will check it out. I'm still up to my ears in a couple of online courses I bought, plus working on a new composite that's taking a lot of time to get right.
