Warm Gatherings...
Dinner given by our wonderful back-door neighbours and the neighbours who live next to them. Of the six of us, we have two nurses, a paramedic and two engineers (one retired) and the lazy photographer staying warm by the fireplace.
@louannwarren This is my neighbor's home...and I only *wish* we had a working fireplace! No complaints though with a good neighborhood filled with lovely friends! Our common lament is that we don't have time to do this sort of thing more often! Busy lives, all!

What a lovely living room. I enjoy seeing "inside" other people's lives and homes. This is the way I remember life when was growing up.... friends getting together in each others homes, often impromptu. I miss those days......
This photo just oozes warmth and neighbourliness! So nice to see in these days where everyone is just too busy. These sorts of gatherings are what makes life worth living.
This is what we call in dutch: wat gezellig, zo tesamen. Gezellig is n`t to translate correctly but ``how nice, so all together`` can do.
In the week day`s I not often go out. Just doing shoppings. But the Sunday`s are our day`s of going to the country , drive around and taking pic.`s
