WE are adjusting very well, Thank You : )

I've been asked for evidence that Buttercup, our Nova Scotia kitty whom I brought back to California, is acclimating to her new home. I'd say she's settled in very well, though she's yet to go out sunbathing poolside

In time...In time...
love! you're the best cat-lady I know. you're just a magnet to sweet cats!

She seems quite at home ☺

So lovely to see Buttercup having a cuddle with you! I am so pleased she made it to SC with you this year! Such a relief to know she won’t be spending any more Lunenburg winters fending for herself! Fav!

@parisouailleurs Thanks for the lovely compliment! I most fortunate that cats will gravitate to me; they're good company ♥

@annied It took her about a week to stop hissing at the other cats (that included two that my daughter had here with her as well!)... We left her alone to adapt herself, and now she's "just one of the crowd" under our roof here!

@pamknowler I knew you'd like that! Before dinner my stomach was "a little" off so I lay down and she got straight up to join me as you see here! She slipped outside as I was feeding the squirrel this morning, but I brought her back in... I need time to sit out there with her and make sure she doesn't try to explore too far-afield!

No better life than a good life. The older I get the more I appreciate this laying lazy.

Awwww....sweet capture...She looks content.

how lovely that she is adjusting to life down south. I miss having a cat but our doggie is a bit too old to cope with one. They are so comforting

She looks very content, as do you Louise.

Oh dear what a poor distressed maltreated cat!!

The picture of contentment! Love it.

Kewl. With the exception of one of mine, I can't even get them to the Vet 2 miles away without them freaking out!
January 19th, 2018
I think you are both right where you should be.

Lovely shot

Looking very comfortable with each other.

@cross62 She fussed for an hour car-ride to the airport, but settled down after that, so I didn't give her meds.... Between Boston and Ca they allowed me to let her out and hold her...she couldn't have been happier about that! She's old, so I wanted to bring her somewhere warm & she wouldn't have to fend for herself.

Yes, you both look very comfortable there!
January 19th, 2018
She looks very much at home :)
January 19th, 2018
it looks like you might be stuck there for a while.
January 19th, 2018
Awww...you both look very content. She obviously feels quite safe, secure, and comfortable with you. :-)
January 20th, 2018
Sweet shot!
January 20th, 2018
You both look rather comfortable! Why would she want to go outside when she has you to snuggle up to?
January 20th, 2018
Ha ha, both of you look set for the day!
January 20th, 2018
Awesome shot
January 20th, 2018
One happy cat
January 20th, 2018
Awww! Why go outside when you can stay on the soft sofa and cuddle?! Smart Buttercup!
January 20th, 2018
There she is! What a content pair! I know Buttercup is happy and loved. So glad you brought her home with you this time, Louise. Fav!
