Rose (far too) early to catch the setting moon and was less-than-thrilled with the resulting images, so I had to make the early hour count for something! As day broke, the coloration set off this lone citrus leaf on the lime tree and I can enter two challenges at once.
The ducks are here and the squirrel is eating at the table just outside my window...not even 7 AM and the day is off to a lovely start!
@seattlite@louannwarren It was that beautiful sunrise coloration I was after, and then remembering the challenges, I thought to maximize that hour I so seldom see!
This beautiful image is absolutely perfect for both challenges! The silhouette creates a peacefulness about the scene. I just keep looking and looking and relaxing more and more. :) Enjoy that lovely day you've started!
Yes, fits both themes well. Love that gorgeous sky. Worth getting up early for something that beautiful. Especially surrounded by your "Disney" characters:)
@stray_shooter Oh shut up!
I had plans to get up about 5:50...good moon sets don't come along all that often... The cat crawled on top of me at 5, so I was out front with the tripod by 5:30. I had time to check my pictures when the moon set behind the houses in *the suburb* and by then I could see I had a chance to get a sunrise. Can't believe I've been awake clear through to now and haven't even been sleepy yet! (Did I tell you we're going with a NC couple to Catalina next week for a few days?)
