Up Country

Off on a little holiday about 4 1/2 hours up the coast... of course about half that time is just getting through the LA traffic to find some tranquility! Along the way we stopped to see out daughter for lunchtime, and after a couple of days up here in Cambria, we'll go back for a visit and to celebrate grandson Dylan's 5th birthday.

@joysfocus I love reading your reply, because if I posted this SOOC, no one would believe those are the real shades of green! You can see I toned it down a bit! So how far a drive are you from here? It may not be this spring, but we're definitely returning when we're back here for a stretch! It's certainly gorgeous!

Thank you for sharing some of the beauty of California. I lived in SoCal for over 30 years and it is so beautiful there - when you can get away and find it. We don't go back except to see my son in the SD area.

You are correct! Once you get through Santa Barbara, the drive is a breeze (generally). You actually get somewhere for the time spent in the car! Safe travels my friend!
