Feeling thankful for the many Costa Rica photos I can draw from while not taking many while close to home and resting my back. (I do feel considerably better, but am not pushing myself. Thank you for the well wishes!)
Here, we came upon a tree-full of spider monkeys having a tasty mango meal! Those of us who've ever eaten a ripe mango know the juice can run down you arms and neck if you don't lean over! It was so clever and cute that the monkeys were keeping their fur clean, all hanging upside down to eat!
I pulled out this memory card to work on today, and it's the first time I've even looked at the pictures here! There are a lot of unseen surprises left! (I just selected this one and went with it!)
What a fabulous sight! How clever they are too! So exciting having all your photos still to look at! I hope the “resting” is really paying off! Relax and enjoy it! I know that’s hard for you but it will be worth it, Fav for your cute capture!
Love the golden tones of monkey, fruit and leaves. I did the same this evening with a card I was checking for my trip, and it had a bunch of pictures from New Orleans!
Well................ I like this one best! It suits the title so well and gives a feeling of space and the little guy's habitat. The tightest crop is best for a shot of the monkey I agree but aesthetically I like this one best. ;)
@filsie65 Thank you, Phil, for the time you gave this for you assessment! This isn't far from the fullness of the original. I cropped away some lower branches but did like the sweep of the branch he sat on. While the extras began as a study of the suggestions of others, the discussions that followed were so interesting as to what each of us finds pleasing! Thanks for weighing in!
