Since posting a photo of a poppy at Hearst Castle, I thought I may as well show you "the outdoor pool" (yes, one of two...) The beauty of "the summer camp" William Randolph Hearst built is beyond description! We owe him a debt of gratitude for leaving this place to all would would like to visit, and fortunate the family members who are still allowed to come and stay in one of the "guest houses". (In such a setting, I'll let you use your imagination to wonder how amazing even the guest houses -three of them- might be!)
A beautiful capture of the Hearst Castle Pool, Louise! When I was little, the indoor pool scared me. I liked the light of day better. I use to ride horses with Bunny Hearst ( a nickname) who was a very sweet girl. I was so sad to read she passed away. Hearst Castle is an amazing place!
