Surely the folks who call this little Tuscany Villa home know they're a focal point for photographers who rise early to catch the light breaking. While taking some landscape-photo classes, we'd set out at 4:15 in the dark, and not until daybreak did we realise all was shrouded in fog! While not our expectations, I was delighted with the soft, moody light we were offered! The entire stay in Tuscany was incredible, and my abundance of photos will continue to busy me through the rest of the year.
We're now currently in Derbyshire, England with Pam @pamknowler who finds more time to post than I do. Enjoy her photos until I have time to catch up a little. It's quite a holiday!
Such a beautiful iconic image that just shouts Tuscany! Well done on your early morning start - it was worth it! I am just hoping that the UK will be as delightful for you! If the sun shines I think we can give you a good run for your money! Lol!
This is really lovely -- and funny enough, I've experienced your narrative of the surprise foggy morning! Enjoy your time with @pamknowler -- you're lucky!
Oh my, Louise! Italy and England? How exciting! You forgot to pack me. :)
And I was thinking about you earlier in September because I was visiting Catalina Island again.
@gardenfolk I did see (and hope I commented!) on your Catalina photos...up at Mt Ada... This trip is already amazing, and we have another month on the road! In our short stay in NS, I was "beyond busy" and have fallen out of touch with many I miss (you!)... Some quiet, rainy day back in California, I'll be checking in to renew old acquaintances! Until then, with so many wonderful people, it's catch as catch can! (Be sure to check @pamknowler for photos...she's better at keeping up with the social media!) Gotta run! xox♥
