Francesca @frappa77 had selected our meeting place to give us the opportunity to photograph the sunset behind the Vatican and the silhouettes of Rome's skyline. The terrace was a charming location for a fruity Prosecco and exchanging gifts, but we were so consumed with sharing conversation, we left Ken to capture the sunset! Here, one of her several well-selected gifts was a nod to the silliness of Flamingo Fridays! We needed to save the moment for Ron @strayshooter who's probably cruising some highway on his motorcycle! I saved this image to use on a Friday, of course, and am still enjoying the delightful memory!
Beautiful capture of you both! Such lovely happy smiles! You have certainly been clocking up your 365-photobuddies this trip and still one more to come and a different country every time! Wow!
@pamknowler haha...true! You've been a big part of this holiday as well! Over dinner Ken was surmising how all those partitioned walls came to be! (I suggested, One at a time...) And remember the PS Brush lesson?...flamingos...case in point!
@louannwarren We learn something new every day! I've never heard that one!!! WHEN and where did you come up with that one?!!! (And that's my last lesson for the day...bedtime and I'll let the gently rolling ship lull me to sleep! ...I always hate the first few nights back on dry land after a sail!)
@ludwigsdiana I have to share here with Diana (and so many of you) that, though we're scattered world-wide, our connections are close ones, and it would be a pity not to try to get together when we come by! We've had the good fortune through the years to travel, but this time had been so endearingly personal and such a special opportunity to meet locally. It's been the most wonderfully unique trip that no travel agent could have arranged!
