Though we'd spent the day at a gorgeous old 1600s Spanish Monastery complete with magnificent foliage and kitties strolling the grounds, there was no memory photo better than this today! Ken and I have enjoyed the company of Danette @Danette and her darling husband during this stay and wish we didn't have to leave! She selected excellent places to visit based on her family's long Florida heritage and her knowledge of the region. She's another 365 gem, and after so many years of following one another, it was nice to finally meet!
The purple flowers are heath. We`ve Autumn now . Our weather is very chanceable with often rain showers. Temp. decrease by day . We use the fire now to keep us warm. (+/- 50-55 Farh.)

@taffy What began as "The Energizer-Bunny Tour" could now be summed up as "The Nook and Cranny Tour" as, in the company of these wonderful locals on 365, we saw the places no average tourist would have gone! Immediately, in communicating with Danette @danette, she surmised that we knew little of Florida, and took us to locations to meet people and see areas we would have missed entirely, and those, too, because holiday highlights! Photographers on 365 know their regions well! Certainly you did, Taffy, when we all descended on you in Chicago!!!
