I've missed you all! Of necessity I decided I could get more accomplished, since arriving home, if I stepped away from all social media until after Christmas. My sweet neighbor is filled with the holiday spirit and last night, brought Ken and me two adorable gingerbreads. In thanking her (with this photo) it seemed a good time to "shed the Scrooge" and make time for Christmas love and best wishes to all of you as well!
I may have been away, but you're all near to my mind! Continue to enjoy and treasure this season!

A large gingerbread man is called a freer. A boy used to decorate a gingerbread doll with, for example, frosting and nuts. He brought this to a girl to show her that he had feelings for her. If the doll was adopted by the girl, the feelings were mutual.
