No one ever accused me of being an early riser, but when I manage an early morning, there's often a reward to be had. 7 AM and the sun was beginning to pour light into bedroom windows. Cappuccino and pastry was ready to bring to the room while getting ready for breakfast...One could get used to life like this! I'll accept that it's a delicious treat!
I was anchored right out there, Louise! But of course it was about 1970 or so and it looked just like that but yet, it looks totally different today. Your early morning capture is breathtaking! I love the colors and the golden glow of the rising sun. Spectacular!
Ahh...to experience a stay at Mt. Ada must be heavenly! I love the decor, views, soft colors, patio deck, food, windows, molding, the grounds and BigFoot! We enjoyed our anniversary lunch and time there so much last year...it has almost been a year. I still cannot believe you were there the same time as me...so close and we missed each other, especially when great minds think alike! :)
What an amazing view -- and yes, it would be wonderful to get used to having a cappuccino delivered while enjoying this view. How are you? I was away from 365 for four months but am back now and miss seeing your photos.
@jyokota Junko! Like you, I stepped away for a long while, too! This was the last "holiday" we had. Wanted to go again, but have been having back procedures, and the latest, last Friday, sees me pain free!!! Photography took a back seat to paper crafting on my Cricut...have had a wonderful time making things and sending them all away; a good reason to also write letters! You've inspired me to post one of my most recent photos inspired by a Pinterest hack... I'll return full time eventually, but it's a good time to say Merry Christmas to everyone! Thanks for the boost! Welcome back To You!!! Hugs and Love!
@Weezilou I'm glad your back is better. I had been feeling like I had nothing to post, only photographing squirrels in my backyard for four months. I hadn't even downloaded the photos! But when I did, I found that they were actually quite fun. Looking forward to you sharing your photos of your crafty paper-work.
@jyokota haha...I've mailed most of it to friends, but I've got bazillion patterns now, so will be in touch! January? Chinese New Year?! There's always an occasion!
