A break from the ducklings briefly... I've been watching as this little mommy has been building a nest at arm's reach above my head in the flowering pear tree! I forget that she's there until I walk underneath and she buzzes my head! If she laid eggs this weekend, we may have babies to photograph in a couple of weeks! The yard has certainly come to life once again!
Lucky youuuuuuuuuu! What a great angle to show nest and bird. How do you attract hummingbirds? I've bought woven nesting houses, nectar feeder, swing, water spraying fountain, and still waiting.
I don't think I have ever seen a hummingbird up this close and not buzzing around like crazy. Looking forward to the baby shots. How do you attract them to your garden
