Traveled from first home;
New life to garden setting.
"Peaceable Kingdom" Welcome
I was shopping with my neighbor when she found this crane and another bird statue for her garden; I loved them and thought it was a wonderful purchase! Over time, however, she didn't feel they fit in as she'd planned and offered them to me. Today I brought her a pan of cinnamon rolls and asked if we might take the birds home, freeing them from a garden shed. Ken selected this location, and I love the turquoises set amongst the shades of green rose-geraniums.
Inspired, I searched the meaning and symbolism of cranes in different cultures, finding they're thought to bring grace, devotion, faithfulness, travel, open-mindedness, aspiration, longevity, immortality, and transformation.
The following quote "spoke to me" and must be quoted as I found it! "With their elegant form and graceful movements, cranes represent beauty, elegance, and refinement. They are often used as a symbol of artistic expression and creativity, as well as a source of inspiration for artists and poets alike."
I found that so meaningful, I was immediately inspired to write the haiku above. "Thank You, Symbol of Creativity!" "Thank you, Barbara!"
