Ken and I are a low-key couple; every day together a reminder of how fortunate we have been for over 54 years. He always asks if there's anything I'd like to do, but, having just returned from a holiday with friends, I was happy to have a lovely dinner with him. He'd brought me roses, and we sat, talking in the living room as we had our morning coffee. Our best gift to one another was "Time". Nothing involving the outside world, just time to relax and visit... It was all we'd have wished for this year!
Happy Anniversary - your day sounds heavenly. We celebrated 36 together on the 13th in much the same way but I didn’t get any flowers. Yours are very beautiful
