A California Winter

Before leaving our daughter's home, I asked for some of the gorgeous camellias from one of two trees growing by her front porch! I can't seem to keep a camellia bush alive for more than two seasons, and her's are above the roof! Once home I added some roses blooming in our yard, and this lends a Holiday air with Christmas lying ahead!

Gorgeous! I love camellias but they do not like the soil in our garden . Have one growing in a large pot and it seems to be doing well. Fingers crossed!
