I've been to Chinese New Year Festivities where a snake-shaped paper lion is held aloft by 10 to12 people and it moves along a serpentine path lined by the party goers! This event featured two pairs of men beneath the lion costumes and entertaining with lifts and twists! Afterward, they also danced along a pathway to the sound of Taiko drumming and cymbals! There was no shortage of texture, noise, and color excite the crowd!
