Thanks Danny G @soboy5 for pointing me to software I didn't realize I had already! I loved a pencil-drawing effect he'd used and asked where he'd done that. He sent me to Photoscape, and ... who knew?! ... I had it already! I'd used it for .gif images, but didn't know it had many cool editing effects! (I realize that all of you with cell phones have any effect you wish, but I have to ferret out some to use!) It delights me that, like Dorothy, I had what I needed right here at home! And I had some quick-and-easy fun applying this effect!
So this, a flashback, is my chubby kitty, Pink, using the water-colour pencil effect... For often wishing I had more to photograph (not involving car travel) than my backyard when we're home in California, how funny that I've come back to it today! **Photo taken 28 June 2015**
I do love to play in those editing departments! I like the one you went with for this kitty portrait. The leaves made a perfect, consistent backdrop for the picture.
