To See & Be Seen ...

"The Amazing Chicago Taffy Tour" wended us through the Art Institute and across the bridge to Millennium Park where Cloud Gate (affectionately known as 'The Bean') is situated. Members of our meetup got some wonderful photos of this iconic piece of public art, Rosie Kerr's making it to the Top Twenty http://365project.org/rosiekerr/365/2016-05-06. If you can find me in the photo (in pink), I clearly wasn't looking through the lens when I happily captured my daughter, Heather in the foreground. Those little tots are my Chicago grandkids.

Moving along, our next stop was across the street at the Chicago Historic Society to see some exquisite domed ceilings in Tiffany glass. I've run out of album space, but be sure to check the tags, chicago-2016 to see what others posted; they're just wonderful!

Thank you for bearing with me as I move at a snail's pace, trying to catch up! My ever-busy Lunenburg life is well underway after just 10 days and at this rate I may be behind all summer, but not for want of trying! Thanks you for the time you've given me with your pleasurable comments! I owe you all!
Love the photo Louise and I'm sure you have many photos to work through. I have been so busy and unable to spend time on 365. I feel so bad but life just has me running crazy. Hope all is well.

@digitalrn How could you have known I was just thinking about you! I'm fully aware you've been absent; life does get in the way of the blissful time spent here! Love that profile foto with little Scarlett! Life is good with us...we're back in Lunenburg 10 days now. You can see I'm quite behind, but want to enjoy the time we had along the way, getting here! We had an amazing meet-up in Chicago...check the tag chicago-2016. You would have loved it...though it was anything but restful! Not complaining, you understand! Thanks for dropping in. These notes are about the most I have time for at present, but I'd make time for you any day, m'friend!

@danette Thanks, Danette. With those little people tearing around, getting a usable shot was not as easy as it might look!

Wonderful shot, one day I shall go to Chicago and see the bean - among many other things! I love how happy this all is - and that you're not the only one from your party waving into the bean! :)

I love this photo. I love to see you and your daughter and grandkids, but especially from such a different perspective. It was so clever to catch the back of Heather's head too. Really nice image Louise!
