Another oil shot?

Have been meaning to to this as well for a while. Finally did it. Took about shots and this is the first one of the lot. All the rest I hated.
Need to perfect this but for now another thing off the bucket list

this is one of the items in my bucket list. but too lazy to dabble with oil and set up. i will try this when there's a blizzard and can't get out of the house to take photos - before the end of the year. not that i'm praying for a blizzard! excellent shot, ab.

This is fabulous, do you have to use a macro lens to capture these sort of shots?

@wenbow Even though I did use my 100mm macro you don't have to use a macro lens for this. I used it just because it was on my camera at the time.
Just a longish lens should do. Try googling for a tutorial video. I saw a video on this. Fairly easy setup.

artistic abstract...love it.
