Playing with bubbles and drops. A fellow camera club member takes awesome bubble/drop shots so this has been on my radar for a while. I need to figure out the angle and lighting a little bit more, but was fairly happy with this, therefore sharing it.
The choice of background was a letdown a little bit.
Large view isn't too bad, if you have a minute
The water is super cool! Would love to know how you did it. I tend to agree with you on the background, though -- not excited by that pattern, but everyone has their own taste.
Amazing! First I didn't like the background but when I viewed it as large and saw the background reflections through a droplet, I love it!
Perfect focus and clarity! Fav!

the bubble came first. the bubble actually stays intact fairly easily. i was surprised how many drops I could put through it before it finally burst. blow a bubble on the surface of the water and the rest of the technique is the same as regular drop shots
Wow - that is absolutely amazing. The clarity of focus is superb. Thanks too for sharing 'how' - like everyone else, I had no idea how you had done this and also had no idea you could drop water on a bubble and still have a bubble - so excited to have learned that today and yet another thing to put on the bucket list. A big, fat FAV for me!
@fishy lol you can talk :P
