Where's the water

Lake George on the way to canberra
lol, I have yet to see Lake George as an actual lake! And more than just random puddles here and there. This a great shot, I love the layering of ground and sky. Would love to see one with the wind turbines in the distance :)

Great sense of space and scale. Also love the layers of mountains and clouds in the background. Those wind turbines look like they are worth a closer inspection too.

why on earth you want to see the turbines?? we have way too many of these things cropping up around the UK in the most disheartening of places. Love the colours in this.

Fabulous layers, love the wide open expanse that we don't see here. Can see the wind turbines when viewed on large. Great contrasting colours.

I lived in Canberra for a few years in the naughties and I never saw water in Lake George. In the 80s and 90s it came all the way upto the Highway and again a couple of years ago when we had all the rain after the long drought you could see the lakes edge from the highway.

I've driven between Sydney and Canberra many times ver the last 50 years and I've only ever seen water in Lake George twice.
