I hadn't been intending to take this photo tonight. I was heading over to Whytecliff Park to photograph the sunset, and I've never even really noticed the view from this bridge before, but as I drove over it, it caught my eye, so I found somewhere to park and check it out.
This is the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal in West Vancouver in the evening sunlight, about an hour before sunset. I used a circular polarizer to emphasize the colour of the sky and the sunlit trees. Once I was set up, it was simply a case of waiting for a ferry!
